How do I know what size will fit my dog?

Do you offer any other nylon widths?

At the moment all of our gear uses a 1’ nylon weave. We do not offer thinner or thicker option(s). 

Is your gear waterproof?

While our gear can get wet, it is not waterproof. Please be aware the nylon we use is non-toxic dyed fabric and prolonged exposure to water could result in some colour bleeding and oxidation of the solid brass hardware. To keep the gear looking its best we recommend removing the collars/harnesses while the dog plays in water. To prevent brass oxidation build up clean the brass with a mixture of baking soda and lemon juice from time to time. 

 

How do I clean your gear?

To keep the colours bright we suggest hand cleaning the gear with a wet cloth or toothbrush. For a more thorough clean you can machine wash in cold water and air dry. Please note that prolonged exposure to water can cause some oxidation on the solid brass rings and loops. To prevent brass oxidation build up clean the brass with a mixture of baking soda and lemon juice from time to time. 

Can the nylon tear?

We use densely weaved nylon webbing with a break strength of 4000lbs. Though not impossible, it is extremely difficult for the nylon to tear. That being said, nylon, like other fabrics and materials, will break down if chewed. 

When will I receive my order?

All of our gear is handmade, so please allow up to 5 business days to process and ship your order. For custom orders please allow 7-10 business days. Standard Canada Post shipping is 4-8 days.

For International shipping, please allow 2-3 weeks to receive your product. Items in your order that are designated for shipment to countries outside of Canada may be subject to taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country (Import Fees). The recipient of the shipment is the importer of record in the destination country and is responsible for all import fees. 

Can I return or exchange my purchase?

Yes, of course. Please see our return and exchange policy here. 

Can I return or exchange a chewed gear?

Sometimes dogs chew on things they’re not supposed to, and it sucks but unfortunately we can not return or exchange chewed gear. While our nylon is a dense weave, it is still fabric and is not meant to be chewed on or carried in the dog’s mouth. 

To prevent your dog from chewing on the leash, avoid leaving too much slack on the leash so it stays out away from their mouth. The harnesses and collars should be adjusted to a snug but comfortable size so the dog should not be able to get it in their mouth. 

Do you guys offer custom gear?

At the moment we are only offering custom orders on our harnesses. We can happily combine any of our available colours. To order a custom product, select the custom option and let us know what colours you’d like in the notes. We do not offer custom designs or modifications to our gears designs.
